I left class last night really looking forward to the rest of the reading this semester. I was excited when I saw Twilight on the list! I have to admit, I loved it although I thought the actual writing was terrible and the no-sex and no drinking bugged me.
I also really enjoyed the quiz with Anne and am happy with how I did although I realized that I have absolutely no idea what is going on in pop culture in relation to music. The Jonas Brothers just don't do it for me. I knew I would do well at the gossipy part of it as I am stuck at my desk all day so spend an embarrassing amount of time on internet gossip sites. She inspired me to dig some of my old Tiger Beat magazines out of my parent's basement and maybe if the class is lucky, I will bring them and we can look at pictures of Rob Lowe who was my number one true love for a good part of the 1980s. (along with the Corey's-both Haim and Feldman).
Hmmm...I am not sure really what else to write. I guess I will end here for my first ever blog post and go sign up for Twitter, MySpace, etc.
I am kind of late coming to all this technology and frankly, it scares me.
